Alyssa Dodge

Alyssa Dodge is a small town singer/songwriter from the Philadelphia area. She has been playing guitar for 10 years along with singing. Dodge began playing guitar at the age of six when she asked for a guitar for Christmas after being inspired by Taylor Swift when she listened to her albums on end for years growing up. Growing up she listened to a lot of country and pop music in the car with her parents as a kid.

She has been compared to artists such as Sarah McLaughlin and Jewel. Dodge is inspired by artists such as Ed Sheeran and John Mayer. Dodge writes acoustic pop and folk music. Her lyrics come from her emotions and life experiences with friends to boys. She wants listeners to feel connected to the stories she tells through her songs. Dodge has played at venues such as World Cafe Live in Philadelphia and The Ardmore Music Hall to name a few. Dodge’s debut album ‘Temporary Nothing’, released in December of 2018, has been played on Spotify, Apple Music, and iHeartRadio along with streaming services from The United States to Australia. Her single “Back to You” has also been played on 94.7’s WDSD a Dover Delaware country radio station as part of Nashville’s Next segment.
